Ireland’s funniest family Panto is back and bigger than ever - it’s simply unmissable!

This year The Olympia Theatre is home to the most star studded show in the country.

There’s something for everyone in this magical panto with stars of stage and screen, social media’s biggest and brightest and one of Ireland’s newest music sensations!

‘Polly and the Magic Lamp’ is bursting with character…

Hot off touring the globe with the biggest sitcom in the world (BBC’s Mrs Browns Boy’s) RORY COWAN – voice of Virgin Media’s ratings smash Gogglebox - is back as the outrageous Dame Polly !

Returning to this year’s show is Fair City soap star RYAN ANDREWS - the handsome Panto Favourite – stars as the hilarious Olly!

Joining Polly and Olly, Aladdin is none other than rising pop heartbreaker JAKE CARTER - the cheeky chappy who won our hearts on RTE’s Dancing with the Stars!

Starring as the feisty Ann-Wha and sassy Genie, Social Media Stars ERIN McGREGOR and JAMES PATRICE make their panto debut… Literally loved by hundreds of thousands on Instagram and snapchat you might also recognise them from Dancing With the Stars !

Throw in our Panto Baddie Veteran Rob Vickers (who has starred in Les Miserable on the West End no less) and a cast of over 100 of Ireland’s most talented kids, this Panto is a surefire showstopper!

And finally, fresh from the sell-out success of The Snapper at the Gate Theatre, our Director - TV star Simon Delaney.

This year’s Olympia Panto promises the biggest stars and even bigger laughs in the best family show in Ireland!

Multiple award winning comedy star Rory is not only a household name but a national treasure. Providing some of the biggest laughs for years in the BBC’s most loved sitcom Mrs Brown’s Boys, Rory has toured theatres all over the world and returns to the Olympia Theatre as our loveable Mammy, POLLY.

Making his Olympia panto debut is the Winner of RTE’s Dancing with the Stars series two, Jake Carter. Jake is a multi-talented performer and singer - he’s climbing the pop charts steadily and can be heard on every radio station in the country. He’s got the looks to make you swoon, it’s obvious his charm and voice will see him ascend to the heights of superstar brother Nathan Carter very soon indeed!

SOCIAL media sensation James Patrice is best known for his hilarious snaps and witty Instagram’s and brings a modern twist to the tradition of panto. The Snapchatter became a national sweetheart as one of the leaders on the RTÉ series Celebrity Operation Transformation. You’ll also recognise him for his backstage antics on RTE’s Dancing with The Stars. James is an incredibly likeable entertainer with hundreds of thousands of followers and fans. With his sparkling charisma and reputation as a Mammy’s favourite James will be right at home on the Olympia stage.

While many recognise Ryan Andrews as a household name for his role as Sean Cassidy on Fair City, it’s the last 10 years of starring in the Olympia Theatre that make him panto gold. Ryan has a huge fan base that come to see him specifically every panto season for his hilarious antics (often involving his loyal steed Linda!), his handsome smile and top-notch dancing. Ryan wins the hearts of the whole family from 9 to 90!

Social media star Erin McGregor made her name in the world of bodybuilding and fitness five years ago. We first got to know her as a semi-finalist on Series 2 of Dancing with the Stars. She has racked up thousands of followers on Instagram and Snapchat in recent years – as she and her sister Aoife document their showbiz lifestyles across the globe and their home lives back in Dublin. Sister of Conor McGregor, Erin comes from Irish showbiz royalty and packs a punch in her panto debut as the feisty and beautiful Ann-Wha!

Rob Vickers is an Olympia Panto veteran. He’s got stage credentials out the ears! Having starred in Les Misérables where he performed the iconic principle role of Jean Valjean he is an Olivier Awards 2012 cast recipient for the 25th anniversary production of Les Misérables in London's West End where he starred in the role for over two years. He’s an Olympia Favourite having played the hilarious President Diggins and Lord Trump the last two years. This year as ABBA-Nazar he brings a Mamma Mia twist to the show!
